Rodger’s relevant experience includes:

• co-ordination and management of external parties to achieve project closing
• large customer account management

Rodger oversees many of the corporate activities at Virtos, including fundraising, grants, business development, finance, governance etc. He also provides valuable input to the founders on strategic direction. He is passionate about delivering world class innovative solutions for the electrification of transport and is excited about the Virtos vision to charge fleets and heavy transport at megawatt scale.

Rodger is an experienced senior executive from the eMobility and energy sectors, having held Director, CEO and General Manager roles in an investment fund, several eMobility companies, renewable energy developers, energy retailers, and commodity traders. Rodger has also been a co-founder in an eMobility start-up (Evie) and a renewable energy company (Ingenero). In those roles he used his science background and commercial experience to help to direct the roll-out of major EV charging infrastructure across Australia and the installation of major solar power projects in the commercial sector.

Rodger enjoys travel, history, culture and trying new and interesting foods. He is a keen hiker and fisherman (which provides creative thinking time) and is proud of the fact that his children have also found careers in the clean-tech fields.
