Harry oversees the day-to-day operations at Virtos. He is responsible for creating and implementing operational strategies, business processes, and growth plans, while providing company leadership and financial oversight. He is motivated by the intricate relationship between market demands, complex product development, people management and the dynamic nature of a startup. His unique ability to balance these are key to the company’s success.
Harry has worked in product development for 13 years, with the last 7 in eMobility. Through various roles at Metromatics, SwingSense, Tritium and Virtos, Harry has expanded his technical expertise in mechanical design, electrical systems, software development and manufacturing optimization.
He co-founded ‘SwingSense’, a golf training aide company, where, as technical director he successfully developed an armband that analysed muscle tension during the golf swing, providing real time feedback to the user.
At Tritium, Harry was initially hired in the factory as a continuous improvement engineer to use his broad experience to optimize their EV charging products and production processes. He quickly progressed to a ‘lead engineer’, where he was responsible for ‘Value Engineering’ where he successfully reduced costs by ~20% on both major product lines. Following these achievements, he was promoted into the role of Program Manager, where he oversaw the successful development and launch of the ‘PKM’ product line. This included resource planning, team management, financial control, process development and standing up the initial factory.
Outside of work, Harry enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures. He has played sport his whole life and is now an avid runner and triathlete. He attributes this to his self-discipline and his team leadership skills.
